I became a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner because I saw too many people slipping through the cracks of a system that treated symptoms instead of stories. With over a decade in healthcare, I’ve worked across both medical and mental health settings—and what I’ve learned is this: real healing begins when people feel heard, understood, and respected.
I founded A Beautiful Mind Behavioral Health to offer the kind of care I would want for my own family—compassionate, informed, and deeply personal. My clinical background includes working with diverse populations, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and schizophrenia. Whether you're just starting your mental health journey or returning after a break, I’m here to meet you where you are—with empathy and without judgment.
I’m dual board-certified as both a psychiatric and family nurse practitioner, which allows me to look at the whole picture—your mental health, physical health, life circumstances, and how they all interact. Together, we’ll build a plan that works for you, blending therapy, medication (if needed), lifestyle changes, and emotional support.

Every client deserves to be heard—fully and without interruption.
I make sure you understand your diagnosis and treatment options.
Your culture, background, and experiences shape your care.
Healing is a journey—I walk it with you, step by step.
People often ask, “Why psychiatry?” For me, it’s simple. I’ve seen what happens when someone feels truly seen—and how powerful that moment can be. I love building relationships with my clients, watching them grow, heal, and regain hope. Outside of work, I enjoy mindfulness, journaling, and staying connected to my own mental wellness practices—because I believe providers should model the care they give.
Our work together starts with a conversation—not a checklist. I take the time to learn what’s going on, what’s worked (and hasn’t), and what you want to get out of therapy or medication. Sessions are held via secure telehealth, so you can join from wherever you feel most comfortable. From day one, you’ll know you have someone in your corner.
If you’re ready to start—or even just thinking about it—I’m here to talk. Reach out anytime to schedule a consultation or ask a question. Your mental health matters. Let’s make space for it.
